Dr. Roger Shiffman has been in practice on the Monterey Peninsula with Pacific Cancer Care for 36 years specializing in Hematology/Oncology. Stacy Strength, NP, RN received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at California State University, Fresno. She continued her studies with a Master's degree and Family Nurse Practitioner License at California State University, Fresno. She has continued her training in aesthetics, learning the latest techniques in facial enhancements with the artistic use of dermal fillers and neuromodulators.

Stacy has 9 years of experience in the medical field in aesthetics and laser skin therapy as well as in the emergency room and as a nurse practitioner. Stacy has a strong belief in health prevention and maintenance. She believes the use of natural, safe fillers and "wrinkle prevention" with neuromodulators align with her philosophy of being and feeling the best that you can be.Stacy and Joanne's natural ability to connect with their patients sets them apart from other providers in the market place. They have a "natural eye" for creating balance and symmetry in a face, thus enhancing your natural beauty in a subtle way that does not look overdone. People will notice you just "look more refreshed."

Joanne Shiffman, RN, BSN is a licensed registered nurse of 28 years with advanced training in medical aesthetics, including the use of neuromodulators and dermal fillers to artfully erase lines and enhance facial contours. She is also highly experienced in the use of non-ablative lasers and light-based therapies used in the correction of sun damaged skin and in the treatment of acne. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and is a certified Public Health Nurse. Her clinical nursing experience includes a background in oncology, emergency room, post anesthesia recovery and plastic surgery.

Opening a medical skincare office with a boutique-like setting and an unhurried approach to treatments was Joanne's vision. "Too often skin clinics become assembly lines for injectibles and laser-based procedures." At Face First Laser Clinic we begin with a complimentary one hour consultation to discuss the needs and concerns of the patient and an individualized plan is created. From experience, Joanne knows there is always more than one way to receive fabulous results; some approaches may take longer but can be just as effective over time!

Joanne is dedicated to quality skin care and outstanding results. She believes that good skincare doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. "We can design a simple daily regime for everyone’s lifestyle."

Paulette has recently relocated to the Monterey Peninsula and comes to us with an extensive background in nursing, as well as a strong emphasis on professionalism and dedication. Her background includes several years in the acute care hospital setting, where she worked as an oncology staff RN, charge RN, educator, preceptor, and mentor. She has also worked as a nursing professor, in both the US and abroad, teaching undergraduate nursing students. Prior to moving to Monterey, she practiced as a Plastic Surgery Nurse Specialist in a large academic clinic. Paulette holds several licensures and qualifications to include a certification in aesthetic medicine. Paulette is very excited to be practicing aesthetic medicine and believes that optimal results can be achieved by delivering the highest quality of care supported by research and technology. Paulette, her husband, and their 5-year-old son are very happy to call Monterey their new home! Paulette is looking forward to meeting you and working with you to let your natural beauty shine!

Lori completed her RN degree in Baton Rouge, LA and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans. Lori has 15 years of nursing specialty training in the fields of intensive care, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, special procedures, and pre/postoperative care. She has dedicated herself to learning and working in the field of medical aesthetics for the past 2 years.

Lori believes that "less is more" when helping people achieve their skin care needs. She strives to teach people that there is more than one way to achieve optimal results when caring for their skin. She recognizes that aesthetics is not a "one size fits all" approach and helps to tailor a plan for the individual. Lori is a native of Louisiana, but has resided in Pacific Grove for the past 9 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children, taking advantage of all that the beautiful Monterey Peninsula has to offer.
